Data & Account Deletion

Effective from 3 September 2026 Last updated 3 September 2026 Operated by Accorgminds Private Limited, Bikaner, Rajasthan

A shop login is issued by the organization that runs the business, not self-registered — so removing one counter's access is something that organization does itself, at once, while deleting a whole account is something the account holder asks us to do. Both are described here, with what is removed and what Indian law makes us keep.

1. What this page is for

It explains how to delete the ApnaTheka app (Android package com.apnatheka.app, and the same app on iOS when it is published) and the data it holds, how a shop login is removed, and how to have a whole ApnaTheka account and its data deleted. This page is reachable without signing in.

2. Removing the app from a phone

  1. Sign out in the app (Home → Sign out). This revokes that login on our servers and removes the account and its token from the phone.
  2. Uninstall the app. The phone removes everything the app stored — its encrypted database included.

Neither step deletes anything from the business's account on our servers: the shop's bills, stock and accounts are the business's records, not the phone's, and stay available to the organization and to any other device that signs in. To delete those, see section 5.

If a counter phone is lost, stolen or handed to someone who has left, do not rely on uninstalling. The organization should switch that shop login off or reset its password (section 3): every phone holding it is signed out at once, from our side.

3. Switching off one shop login

The organization that issued the login switches it off, or resets its password, from its own settings (Location Workspace → the shop → Login). It takes effect immediately on every device and needs no request to us. The shop's records stay in the books.

4. Deleting your Liquor Booking account

  • In the app: Me → Delete my account. Your ApnaTheka ID is removed at once, together with its sign-ins, notification tokens, date of birth and the record of your choices.
  • Without the app: write to accorgminds@gmail.com from the mobile number you signed in with; we delete the ID within the times in section 7.
  • What stays with a shop: each shop you joined keeps its customer card and your past bills as its own sales records. To have a shop erase your name and mobile number from its Customer screen, ask the shop or write to us; your past bills stay in its books with no name on them.

5. Deleting a whole account

A request to delete an organization's account and its data must come from the account holder — the licensed proprietor, partner or director. Email accorgminds@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request", or write to the Grievance Officer, Mr. Subhash Saran, at the same address or on +91 8619700971, and include:

  • the organization and company names, and the shop codes concerned;
  • the registered mobile number and email on the account;
  • whether the whole account is to be deleted, or only named data.

We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it — this protects you from someone else deleting your books. If we cannot verify it, we say so rather than proceed. If you want a copy of your books first, ask for it in the same message.

6. What is deleted, what is kept

Deleted or anonymised within 30 days of a verified request

  • Every login of the organization, its passwords and every token issued to them.
  • Contact details — names, emails, mobile and WhatsApp numbers — of the organization, its staff and its shops' customers.
  • Activity, session and notification logs.
  • The organization's own working data that no law requires us to keep.

Kept, because Indian law requires it
